Warehouse Gym & Fitness has a large Olympic lifting community that continues to grow by the day. As more and more people discover this unique sport, we find more members of the local community enjoying it. Using it as a way to keep fit or train competitively, everyone is welcome at WGF. What Is Olympic Lifting?

Olympic lifting is a form of weightlifting that involves athletes lifting a barbell loaded with weights above their heads. There are two types of Olympic lifting, with their own forms of movement:

The Clean And Jerk

A combination lift. This involves the barbell initially being brought to the shoulders in one motion, followed by the jerk motion from the shoulders to above the head
